Navarre Beach Fishing Report – May 2, 2025
Today was windy across the Florida Panhandle, but the bite was hot for our clients aboard Showintail Inshore Charters! The morning trip was a blast, with nonstop redfish action along the flats and oyster bars in Navarre Beach and Santa Rosa Sound.
As the southeast wind picked up in the afternoon, conditions got tougher — but our crew still managed to put quality redfish and speckled trout in the boat. We shifted to more protected areas behind Pensacola Beach and the eastern side of Fort Walton Beach, where the bite continued.
🐟 What We Caught Today:
-
Plenty of slot and over-slot Redfish
-
Several solid Speckled Trout
Live shrimp under popping corks and soft plastic swimbaits were the go-to baits all day long.
