Go Charter Fishing In Navarre Florida Report

The weather has turned to cold and windy to start the week off. My fishing report is

going to be short and sweet because I am not going out to brave the cold to find out what is going on 🥶

REDFISH – The redfishing bite was great leading up to the cold front. Shallow grass flats and structure had fish hungry and ready all week. Soft plastic on a light jig head was the key to catching all the redfish you could ask for. The early mornings just as the sun was coming up was really fun throwing top waters in the along the edges of the shallow flats. The Redfish and Speckled Trout where fired up in the foggy conditions.

Speckled Trout – The trout bite before the front slowed down once the sun came up. We caught most of our gator ( over 20”) fish within the first hour of sunlight. Top waters and paddle tails on jig heads caught all of our trout with the bigger fish coming on the paddle tails after the fish missed the top water. So always be ready to throw something else at a picky or lazy fish.
