Latest Fishing Report – Miramar Beach (July 12, 2025)
The bite in Miramar Beach has been strong this week! Early mornings are producing solid redfish and speckled trout near the grass lines and deeper cuts in Choctawhatchee Bay. Topwater lures are working at first light, followed by soft plastics and live shrimp as the sun rises. Sheepshead are holding close to docks and bridge pilings, and the mangrove snapper bite has picked up around nearshore structure.
- Best Action: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Hot Bait: Live shrimp on a Carolina rig or popping cork
- Captain’s Tip: Look for diving birds and bait flickers near flats transitions
