The bite in Destin is on fire this week! Early mornings are producing limits of redfish and speckled trout in Choctawhatchee Bay, with live shrimp and topwater lures doing most of the damage. Deeper docks and channel edges are also holding flounder and black drum.
Nearshore reefs are stacked with vermillion snapper and triggerfish, and our 4–6 hour trips are sending guests home with full coolers. Offshore, the amberjack bite remains strong over structure in 120–180 feet, and we’re seeing a few mahi-mahi pushing in closer with the warm currents.
