Why Fish Pensacola with Showintail?

Pensacola is steeped in maritime history, and the fishing is legendary. When you book a trip with Captain Bryant, you aren’t just getting a boat ride—you’re getting a guided tour of the area’s best-kept secrets.

  • Targeted Bridge Fishing: We specialize in fishing the structure of the Three Mile Bridge and the I-10 Bridge, where “Bull” Redfish and Black Drum thrive.
  • Calm Water, High Action: No rough seas. We stay in the protected bay waters, making us the top choice for family-friendly fishing in Pensacola.
  • Expert Coaching: Whether you’re a pro or it’s your child’s first time holding a rod, we provide the instruction needed to land the big one.

What We Catch: Pensacola Bay Species

The ecosystem in Pensacola is unique. The deep channels and massive bridge systems provide habitat for species you won’t find as easily elsewhere:

  • Bull Redfish: Pensacola is famous for these “Copper Monsters.” We target them year-round around the bridge pilings and deep holes.
  • Speckled Trout: Found in the grass flats of the Sound and the lower bay.
  • Sheepshead & Flounder: We hunt these “tasty” species along the rock piles and jetties.
  • Seasonal Jack Crevalle & Spanish Mackerel: High-speed action that will have your reel screaming!

Our Pensacola Fishing Locations

We launch from the most convenient spots to get you on the fish faster. Our primary Pensacola routes include:

  • Pensacola Bay: A massive fishery with endless opportunities for Redfish and Trout.
  • Three Mile Bridge (Bridge Fishing): Some of the best structure fishing in the Southeast.
  • The Santa Rosa Sound: The clear, shallow flats between Pensacola and our Navarre Beach fishing charters.
  • Navy Point & Bayou Grande: Local favorites for finding schools of Redfish.
